Watson The Band Late Breaking Fundraiser

One of my good NoMi Homies is the drummer in a band called watson. This hometown band, that we like to claim as part "northside" band due to one fourth of it's members hailing from the northside, has seen some coverage on local blogs before.

I recently received word that there is a last minute gig planned for tomorrow, Thursday, July 29. Here is the announcement:

Hello watson fans!

I
t is with great pleasure that we announce a late breaking show - we will be the featured band in The Titanic Room @ Kieran's Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis this Thursday, July 29th.  And what's more, we're donating our performance to help raise funds for the Susan G Komen Race!!!  The event runs from 6pm to 10pm, we will be starting our show at 8pm and the cover is $5.  All proceeds will go to the team "Save 2nd Base" which will be participating in the Race for the Cure.

We hope you can make it out this Thursday
 and support this great cause.
For more info on the cause, you can check out the official website at: http://www.komenminnesota.org/

Cheers,
watson

In the email announcement I received it looks like there is another upcoming chance to see watson:  Tuesday Aug 24 - FREE    St Paul Saints Pre-Game   Midway Stadium   5pm to 7pm

My advice: Get out, enjoy summer, enjoy some local music with one fourth northside roots. Tell the watson band members you are a NoMi Homie!

And don't forget to tell the drummer you saw the infamous pic of him doing "litter patrol" on the Jordan Pond!
